We haven't had a lot of luck with posters' younger siblings. 'Course, I can only remember Greg Gerratana offhand, but I'm sure there were more.

Yeah, remember Extra Magnus? That guy wasn't a hoot. "DOWN TEH BUTT !!" and all that.

Also (on topic for once) Graham Hancock might be a quack, but he's a very interesting/self-effacing/well-researched quack:
quote:
...(6) Robert Bauval and I have jointly evolved a tentative 'theory of Giza' over the past five years of our work together. Briefly this theory -- which we offer as a serious alternative to the orthodox 'tombs and tombs only' hypothesis -- is that the three great pyramids of Giza, and the Great Sphinx, form a symbolic architectural model of some of the principal stars of the Duat sky-region (through which the Pharaohs believed that their souls would travel after death) as that sky-region appeared at dawn on the spring equinox in the epoch of 10,500 BC. Citing the geological findings of John Anthony West and Robert Schoch, we have argued, and continue to maintain, that the Great Sphinx and its associated megalithic structures may actually have been built in that distant epoch. We have also argued, and continue to maintain, that the three great pyramids in general are likely to be much younger than the Sphinx and that they should probably be assigned to the Fourth Dynasty (rather than to any other period) because of the alignments of the star shafts...

And then his older brother died, and we were sad.

Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

Also, "Greg" and "Frank"? Were there parents tryig to compensate for their ridiculously stupid surname by making their first names as dull as possible?

Accept perhaps you're splelling.

Also I will be needing some pics of you to clumsily Photoshop into embarassing and kind of irksome collages.

Well, you've had plenty of pictures of LOA for about 5 years now, and I've yet to see you produce any embarrassing or irksome collages of her! What's the matter, she too old for you? Coming down with the Curse of Shik? 8)

You have not been looking in the right places. Also I've recently been dating(gasp!) a (gasp!) 34-year-old (which is like 38 in NZ years or something), so in answer to your question: no LOA is not too old. It's just that I crave the sweet young blood.
