So I'm pleased to see that not every Japanese game show is, like, fucked-up porn. This is something I'd probly watch regularly if I could.

Hey, the girl that said that New York is a country reminds me of my sister.

Well...why should they not be? If kids here are aware of Korea, for instance, even though its 'way the hell over there'...

Yeah, but Korea at least has a little place in American history ( the korean war). I'll have to look this up, but I'm pretty sure Equitorial Guniea has a much smaller place in Japanese history. I'm sure that knowing that that place even exists is like an American being able to name all the countries in Africa.

Reminds me of the TV game show version of "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?". The final round had the kid matching country names to places on a big map, usually just one continent. You could just see their faces drop if they got Africa.

I loved to watch that show when I was a young kid. It's not on PBS anymore though.

I was in college when it was on. Not quite sure why my housemates & I watched it, but the best part to me was Rockapella, especially when they chimed in with comments like "Low budget!"

Link to oddly appropriate image!

I was really confused and then I went back and re-read and realized he said "Where in the WORLD is Carmen Sandiego?" and not "Where in TIME is Carmen Sandiego?" which is what...I was...singing...

...fail.
