Pay no attention to the unbelievers!
The 1701-A shall always be the fairest of maindens.

I fell in love with her at a premiere of ST:TMP on the big screen - during the drydock tour.

Check out the pic of the open shuttlebay: there are Workbees stored vertically along the walls.
Everything is based on Probert's sketches from TMP.

Have you seen his NX-01 in the same scale?
I can post links if you like....

Any idea on cost? Oh and how big is it actually from stem-to-stern? In our crazy european numbers if you know.

I like the Constitution Class refit myself... and I grew up watching TNG. I could make the thread worse by saying that the Prometheus Class is the best ship designed since it can blow things up really nice... but I won't.

I like the Ambassador Class refit also... too bad we hardly saw her.

I love the amby refit: except for that Excelsior shuttlebay they slapped on the secondary hull's ubdercut.
I always leave that part off when making a Amby Refit- it just looks better.

OK sorry - is that E-refit going to be widely available? Is this this Polar Lights model - or is it a Thomas Models kit?

I looks great... but what is the point of the room detail when the windows seem to be non-transparent.

Is there anyway to make the roof of the arboretum 'glow' i.e. bluish? Same with the little warp turbolifts?

How would you get the pearlescent effect on that ship instead of just a flat grey?

Looks nice

Andrew

That's the master that Thomas is making for Polar Lights: he already mastered their 1000th scale TOS Enterprise and the amazing 350th scale NX-01.
The NX and Connie Refit are in scale with each other.
Either the kit comes with lights or is intended to be lit from within.
As to the "pearlescent" aztec pattern, there's many variations but white with a drop of silver seems to be the best looking.

All those models are widely available in hobby stores, omline nad (in the case of the TOS E) at Target and Walmart.
