Best believe there be Spoilers ahead!

http://www.worldofepic.net/ep3.mov

Watch for Wookies galore, the ships (including the new Jedi Starfighter (looks like a TIE) and what looks to be Palpaltine fighting with a red lightsabre!
(I'm actually excited about this one!)

Downside: Yoda looks more like a cartoon than ever.

They now add the howling TIE-sound to the Starfighter, and it has an octagonal canopy.

I liked the butt of Palpatine's saber, unfortunately that's all we see.

Chewie's friend has shoulderpads! That negates the notion that wookiees can't wear armor.

We have seen nothing of Chrissie Lee or General Grievous, but all that feels like an afterthought now.

I have to start educating a friend of mine who's only seen ANH. I look forward to completing his training.

We can also see Republic X-wing, with six s-foils, but only two engines...

Yes, I hoped that would be the Z-95 Headhunter (the canopy and ventral shape really looks like it) which has always been held as the proto-Xwing in PC games like "Tie Fighter" and such, but those minifoils confuse me.

In comparison, it looks like this new Wing has a hawk-nose, and obviously carries no laser mounts on its wingtips.

Here's the concept art for that fighter:

I also prefer the Z-95.

Aah, now I see. Like one of those US carrier bombers fighting the japanese in the pacific, with the butt ugly two-man cockpit. Nice wing-lasers, though. I wonder if they track.

Actually, there looks to be a cockpit in front for the pilot and a two-man cockpit on top for the gunners. And that proto-TIE looks yummy.

The Proto-TIE has the same problem the Naboo fighter had: no room for the Droid's body.
I think we'll see R2's head/upper guts seperate and get stuck into the fighter as a modular piece.

Seriously.

Something else to look forward to: the larger droid fighters now employ small (launched) droid projectiles that unfold as they aproach a fighter nad manually tear it apart.
(how this is better than simply firing explosives is unclear at best but this is the universe with giant metal camels as troop transports so...)

Here's the Z-95 as it would've looked if realized onscreen:

SO much cooler than the "Jedi-TIE". [Razz]

So, rather than an X-wing, this is... what, an asterisk-wing?

No.

1.) Dial-up makes downloading movie trailers a waste of time.

2.) Star Wars is terrible.

I kid! Well, I don't. But, OK, about this movie I have zero excitement. I have negative excitement. The trailers for the first two looked neat, and the films were awful. So why should I assume the pattern has changed? Grr, curmudgeon! I also have little use for sunny days, and about rainbows I care not at all.

Looks like 3PO and R2 on the corridor of the Tantive-IV. Be interesting if the film ends right before A New Hope begins ...

There is a Tantive IV in the movie- unfortunately it's supposed to be a "shiney new one".

Uk.

Sol, I agree that the hype for the fist two far outshone the movies themselves...but we can look forwatd to Mace Windu getting killed!
Worth the price of entry for that alone!

I fucking hate that character!
Shaft of the Jedi is goin down.
