That, and if we stopped posting what other people resented... Well, it would be awfully quiet here....

"Sharp" mightn't be the best adjective to use when in a discussion of, how the kids say, "doobies."

Its not always enjoyable, not for me, anyway. Today, case in point (Perhaps not everyone will want to read on, its just about a bad experience I had today).

After a nice few hours exploring the city during the day, well, lets just say I came across some stuff. I decided to go to the Reina Sofia, and I spent a good hour and a half or so looking around (I had smoked one at this point), but mainly Salvador Dalis stuff. I went back to the hostel and smoked another three (which, of course, was just asking for trouble), then started thinking about Dalis pictures, whereupon I proceeded to have one the worst whities of my life. The pictures affected me pretty deeply, but not in a positive way, those paintings are so horrible and tortured and twisted (although fascinating in a distasteful way), I knew it was weird stuff and that I was taking a risk by smoking but I couldnt have anticipated the strength of my reaction. I was basically lying on the bed having sort of nightmares and feeling very unwell. Ive had this type of experience before 2 or 3 times, and I admit I really should know better (well, I do know better, I just did a stupid thing). The only reason Im writing this here is that these experiences are followed by a time of fragility, and it helps if I get it off my chest, even if I get flamed.

i've smoked a lot, and the only reaction i've ever had is coughing and a general sense of mellowness and well being (and hunger). oh well.

It was usually enjoyable for me, too, as long as I was in comfortable surroundings and in the right frame of mind. But the few bad experiences are something Id wish on noone.

i'm sorry you've had bad experiences. all of my drug experiences have been totally positive. never a bad trip, and never a bad high. i guess stuff affects different people in different ways.

Good for you indeed. Good for all of us, and exciting, too.

Oh, welcome back, Red Admiral. Good too see you're posting your models and such in the Design forum. At least something is interesting.

I suspect Dali would be pleased. And then he would put a flowerpot on his head.

Hmm, this thread seems to have gone a bit sideways...

So have you been to any Spanish 'Nightclubs' Jernau? And being in Spain you'll know what I mean.... [Wink]

Do they have any Dayclubs over there? I figured Spain being part of Europe, and therefore more progressive then the US, they'd be all the rage.

Welcome back Red Admiral! When'd you get back? Good to see ya'.
