Still...nothing in that makes sense- he was taken to a parking lot to relieve himself- in cuffs- and managed to break away and...er...kill himself.

well, from my experiances, this means the end of anything fun, remote or extreme on ships. this must have happened during 2005-06 on The big E. The Media dept has always done some form of satire and generally nothing either memorable nor contrevesial. at least nothing like whats in this report.
im really glad i'm retired. this shit will totally fuck over what you can do. itll be more like, never again.

idiots. Watch his trigger finger and see how much time he keeps it on the trigger (instead of extended along the gripe or body, when you dont intent to shot) But this is what gun idiots do in thier spare time. though i have a question: are you allowed to discharge firearms like that in rural areas? do the cops keep a blind eye (i imagine so, in such WASP/Redneck settings...) to this kind of thing?
i do hope the cops see this video and arrest him for being a dumb ass and youtubing it...

I actually subscribe to this dude on YouTube, and follow his videos rather closely. He is very safe with all his shooting, and this private range in on several dozen acres of property that he owns (former farmland, I believe). If it was dangerous...he wouldn't be doing it.
I'm no fan of defending idoits with guns who do stupid shit and make all of us gun owners look bad...but this guy is in fact a stand up and knowledgable guy (at least, he appears to be in his videos), so I don't mind defending him one bit.
If I had all that property, you bet I'd do some shooting.
