I happened to see this over on TrekBBS: What's a Cardassian "Penetrator" vessel? Scroll a little way down and you'll see Rick posted another of his concept sketches.

People who actually work for the franchise get an automatic no-newb-hazing pass.
I actually like the design that was used for Dreadnaught. It seemed to fit the function nicely.
The one he posted seems a little too overworked for a missle. I think it would work for another kind of Cardie ship though. Kind of looks like one of the ships in one of the Trek computer games.

Just because this guy SAYS he's this Mojo character, doesn't mean he is. And NO-ONE 'famous' ever shows up here. We managed one chat with Robert Hewitt Wolfe, and that was 3 years ago. We're too eccentric, too out there, all the other BBs think we're weird. If you want to go hang out with minor Paramount functionaries who will only ever say "oh, we're planning big things, big, big things. Can't tell you about them, though - keep watching!" then go to the bloody TrekBBS or TrekWeb or WebTrek or TreWebek or wherever.
I rest my case.

And guess what, Mojo turned out to be the real deal. And he's been the only one here. What does that say about Lee? Should we listen to him any further? Well, that's really for the rest of you to decide.

Why would anyone want to pretend that they're Australian??? Was anyone fooled?
Let me say I'm shocked, shocked, that any Flarite would post at Trek BBS!!!
Seriously, TrekBBS is ok, but they have a too many fanboys, kranks, Enterprise fans, and other types of misfits. People over there tend to be very touchy and easily take offense. I like the higher quality of sociopath we have here at Flare. More discerning and better informed, anyway.

Everyone here of course knows that those first Keldons that attacked the Defiant weren't modified like the later ones that were chasing it to the Kraxon...

Well . . . and this is just personal opinion here . . . for the most part (the Keldon discussion notwithstanding), I found the TrekBBS crowd to be alright. Sure, you have 'tards and pompous 'tards just like any other large open forum, but on average the tech discussions aren't too horrendously bad, and sometimes are dang good.
Of course, I may be biased . . . I like watching Aridas get smacked around, and there are plenty of folks at TrekBBS who do so.

Personally I tend to stick to the Art forum, which is reasonably sensible...even if there are one or two there that appear to have some "issues" that are a little beyond me. Other than that I only scan the tech page from time to time and keep an eye out to see what Sternbach is posting, which is usually something interesting.

Now i've had a vague memory pop in my head about TrekBBS from a few years ago - with a rather wankerish poster - there were links to it from here... Captain someone... he was just a complete nitwit. Can anyone remember who that was!?!
