Used CD Legislation Slows Used Game Sales

Florida's new legislation goes well beyond the measures of a traditional pawn shop law. The state now requires all retailers selling second-hand CDs to acquire a permit and invest in a $10,000 security bond through the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Stores must fingerprint individuals trading in CDs, copy their state identification, and pay them only in store credit; traded CDs must be held for 30 days before being resold.

Vegan couple sentenced to life over baby's death
Malnourished baby was fed soy milk and apple juice, weighed 3 1/2 pounds

ATLANTA - A vegan couple were sentenced Wednesday to life in prison for the death of their malnourished 6-week-old baby boy, who was fed a diet largely consisting of soy milk and apple juice.

...just... urgh. Words cannot describe... what awful parents. Just... gah.

*goes to be sick now*

Who's up for using taxpayer dollars to give her a tubal ligation and him a vasectomy? It'll be cheaper than you'd think because I don't see any need for anaesthetics.

(Why no, I'm not pissed off. Not at all. Why'd you ask?)

Yeah, some people need to be thrown into a dark well for their crimes.

Completely ignoring the dozens of used music/game businesses this drives bankrupt, the employees of said businesses that are now unemployed or how it hurts the consumers that just maybe dont want to be gouged by the RIAA's inflated CD prices by buying used CD's.

Well, if they were giving the child adequate amounts of soy milk, it wouldn't be such a problem. My girlfriend's best friend recently had a baby and has to feed it soy milk (Isomil) because she's allergic to lactose. But this is specially formulated baby-soy-milk, not the shitty Silk or So Good! stuff you buy at the supermarket (which these idiots were probably feeding their child).

Maybe if that woman let her baby suck on her tits for a while none of this would have happened. You know, the natural way of feeding a baby? In a way. I'm almost relieved that poor kid doesn't have to grow up with these whackjobs. He'd probably have been grounded for a week for eating a fucking cheeseburger.

Some people should not be allowed to have sex. Right now, it's too early for me to think of all the right words to describe the hostility I want to act out on these people.

Its fine and dandy if adults want to make the decision to become vegans. But as a species humans are omnivores and need meat protein from birth. I've known vegetarians/vegans that have children and although they find the thought of eating meat/animal products disgusting, they still feed it to their kids because they need the nutrients. Once the kids become old enough to make the decision, they can become just like their parents all they want.

A mysterious dip in gravity over Canada has been a weighty topic for some scientists. Now satellite data reveal a thick ice sheet that once cloaked the region partially resolves this so-called gravitational anomaly.
