In general terms, a luddite is someone who is against technology. Usually, anything after the Industrial Revolution is bad. It comes from a... (Quick research), an 18th century Leicestershire man named Ned Ludd who destroyed labor-saving machinery as a protest.
In the above context, the term luddite is meant in humorous terms, usually when someone is not quite on the cutting edge of the technological wave.

Well, owning a copy of The Magazine, and a magnifying glass....it looks very much like "4201" or "4281". The 0/8 is not two 1s, because the outer edges are curved, and not pointed, as the 1 on the end is...

Hmm. So it's just the 2nd digit that's in doubt. We can rule out 1 and 7 straight off, and 0 too. 2,3. . . not a 4. . . 5, 6, 8 or 9. A choice of 6. What could be simpler? A lot of things. . . 8)
