I certainly do not encourage any such thoughts about Omega!

Um, nor do I discourage them either.

Can we please get off Omega? Er, can we get the subject off Omega? We're bashing Dubya here, not his supporters.

Ohh bash Dubya. Tis good.

Does anyone have his academic record on hand? I'd like to see his geography and international studies scores.

You wouldn't need to, it was already in the press months ago...as I recall both Bush and Gore sailed through college with duplicate sets of gentleman's C's.

Sol:

With the exception that Gore didn't graduate, IIRC. I could be wrong, but I know he flunked out of divinity school.

Has anyone mentioned Liam's pants yet?

Well, Omega, what is wrong with that? Lots of people who haven't gone to college or have left early have made names for themselves. I do think Gore graduated college, but even if he didn't, he DID become Vice President (and almost President, if the Republicans hadn't stolen the election) of this country. Says a lot for him. I guess you place more value in a degree, huh?

Let me be blunt. If divinity school has anything to do with religion....who gives a f***?

It has more to do with philosophy etc. than religion, actually.

Divinity school sounds like a place where one trains to be a deity...

Well, the theological philosophy but if you have no intention of being in the clergy, then one has the opportunity to get that philosophy major...you know the one that looks great on the waiter resume...in a regular 4 year institution.

So yes, if you are in Divinity school you are shooting for the clergy of whatever sort.
