My uncle is in a biker posse. I say posse instead of gang since this group is made up of married 30-somethings who all work for the same local roofing and general construction company. Watching them reminds me of the episode of The Dick Van Dyke show when Robert Petrie gets a cycle.

Hmm. Well, I've been reevaluating my desktop imagery of late. HAL9000 is one of the few that's survived, and it's been chosen as the wallpaper for the laptop I've just inherited. But it's obvious I need some more. So I need to know where Cartman and DeadCujo (the first one, not the Bender one) get their wallpaper, and any similar sites like that.
I've also been converted on the idea of skins. As you might have noticed, I've never bothered with them. But now. . . where are good places to get them?

Ah, the weekend warriors. There's a Harley-Davidson shop near here where one can observe the habits and rituals of this strange species...

Its a weird new development at Nullsoft, go figure. I think the lastest Winamp3 build comes with an "official" Mad Magazine skin. Bleh.
Anyways, a place where I like to get general wallpaper, skins, etc. is deviantArt
Its a bit slow, and uncomfortably massive....but it really does have wallpaper...and skins for practically any application.

I downloaded the Windows Media Player LCARS skins from the startrek.com website and was playing Aaliyah's More Than A Woman when I found the thread.

That WMP skin is great. (Still laughing because I thought the video was part of the skin. You have to admit that it does kind of look like there's a deflector dish behind her)
Here's the other mac desktop you might see here for those who might be interested...

Yes, Media Player has skins. But only for XP. I highly recommend www.theskinsfactory.com for some of the best ones (I personally use one called Vario). You can also download from Microsoft a tool that allows you to use WinAmp skins on Media Player

I did notice that in her video before, but then again I see Star Trek everywhere...

Since I was fiddling with it today, I decided to resurrect this thread to post my Windows XP Logon GUIs. I've currently downloaded 5, but I plan to download more since LogonLoader (required to change your XP Logon screen) can randomly run a Logon GUI everytime you go come to the screen. Anyway, here are the five:
(These aren't screenshots, by the way, they are just pictures from the site which I got them from)
