I have this image now of a car, sitting in a church parking lot, blasting Elton John and Billy Joel at inescapable volumes.

I feel ill...

Eh, I used to do that bunch. One of my friends attended the church that I used to attend, and throughout most of high school tried to get me to go back (including putting my name on the mass mail-out list). Then again, my system sucked so it wasn't quite at inescapable volumes.

Father John was actually a big fan of Billy Joel and Elton John.

It's kinda fun kicking up the bass as high as it'll go and playing those big whomping synth chords in "It's My Life". It's also fun to sit in the parking lot after a church activity and play "Your Song" and "We Didn't Start the Fire" as loud as I can with the windows down.
Er... don't people, like, throw beer cans at you, an' stuff?

Ahh, the quandry! How do I take the piss out of Omega's musical taste without letting out that I quite like "It's My Life"?

People with subwoofers that are far too loud = idiots who must die.

Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

Surely those are some kind of high powered jet engines, designed for when Mistes Smith and/or Jones enter the vehicle?

My quandary is somewhat different. How do I take the piss out of Psyliam's musical taste without him hitting me with an ultra-sarcastic and witty comeback? The answer: I don't. [Frown]

One could argue that it could be considered a stereo, as well. Also, that is ludicrous. Penis comments inevitable.

Whatever a stero is... [Roll Eyes]

This is when you know your car stereo is getting out of hand:

There are TV screens in each visor of this Mustang as well.

And in case LOA wants to know, here's your new Accord:

Next time you are on ICQ, remind me to send you a decent version of "I'm a Believer", especially since I suspect that the Smashmouth version is the one I heard in Florida last year, and if so, it's the worst cover since Tim sang "Love me tender" in the shower last night.

Although "The Power Of Love" is one of the best songs ever...
